Hang in there! (and some cool resources)

You know, there is so much financial news out there right now, and little of it is very encouraging.

That’s why I wanted to change it up today and jump in your inbox today to offer you a little boost.

You’re doing a great job.

I know it might feel a little silly to read, but it’s true!

Do you know how many people go through their lives without trying to plan for their future? Without thinking about (or even caring about) their retirement or how they’ll reach their goals?

Many people are all dreams and all talk – no action.

The fact that you’re here tells me a ton about you! You’re different.

So keep going!

Next, I’ve been scouring the internet to find a few resources that I think might help you this week with managing your finances.

  • subreddit dedicated to personal finance. It’s a community of people who might be just like you. (Remember, I can’t get behind any specific recommendations because I don’t know your goals or situation, but I believe community is valuable.)
  • Want a fun way to get smarter every morning in 5 minutes? Check out the Morning Brew, a daily email newsletter that gives you a quick, entertaining rundown of the news, including financial topics.
  • Still don’t use budgeting software? Here’s a popular one that can set you on the path to better money habits.
  • Lastly, if you still feel stressed out about what’s going on in the world (can’t say I blame you), there are plenty of apps that might help calm your nerves. This one’s really big right now.

(A quick note: I don’t get anything if you use those services. I’m just sharing what I’ve found with you here.)

And, of course, you can always hit ‘reply’ with any questions about your finances. You can also book a 15 minute consultation if you feel like now might be the time to start working with an advisor that can help you get to the next level. Just call (330) 836-7800 to book a spot.

Again, don’t forget you’re doing great, and I believe you can keep it up!
